Save yourself time and headache by checking out these “system specs” about FORMED!

Like any website with streaming content, FORMED works best on certain operating systems and browser versions. We have provided the list here so you can make sure your device’s operating system and browser will not hinder you from having the best FORMED experience possible!

If you encounter a technical difficulties message, an infinite spinning circle, or other interruption issues while using FORMED content, you may simply need to switch browsers or update your current browser. The FORMED video player requires the following operating system and browser versions to be utilized:

On Windows 7+ Operating Systems, FORMED supports:

Chrome version 47+
Internet Explorer version 11+
Microsoft Edge (Windows 10 only)
Firefox version 48+

On Mac OS 10.9+ Operating Systems, FORMED supports:

Chrome version 47+
Firefox version 48+
Safari version 8+

Additionally, the following Operating Systems are not supported by FORMED:

Windows Vista*
Windows XP*

**Microsoft no longer supports these operating systems (OS) and many browsers no longer work with them. FORMED is entirely browser dependent, so if a web browser doesn’t work properly on an OS, then the FORMED content won’t work properly.

The following Web Browsers are not supported:

SeaMonkey
Opera
Silk

A FORMED viewer utilizing an operating system and browser version below the configuration versions listed might experience interruptions in access to streamed programming content. If you are encountering difficulties, use these steps to easily troubleshoot and resolve your issue:

Recall if your device has a Windows OS or Mac OS
Make sure your Windows OS is Windows 7 or above, or that your Mac OS is Mac 10.9 or above. If not, update your OS to the latest version.
If your OS is up to date, and you are still encountering issues, check the list above to ensure your OS supports the internet browser you are currently using. Switch browsers to one listed if necessary.
If you are still encountering issues, update your browser to the latest version.

What about the FORMED Apps?

FORMED iOS App requires your device to be updated to iOS version 10.0 or higher.
FORMED Android App requires your device to be updated to version 5.0 or higher
You may not register for FORMED via the iOS or the Android App. Instead, register in a web browser at www.formed.org. Once registration is complete, you may download and sign into a FORMED App to access programming.
