Is Content Ever Removed from FORMED?

Are you nervous to plan too far in advance in fear that FORMED content will be taken down?

Fear no more!

We’re giving you a behind-the-scenes insight into our content posting process, so that you can plan your ministries with peace of mind. Here are the five things you need to know:

1. With the exception of a few “limited-time offers” such as the Bible and the Sacraments series, content is acquired and placed on FORMED with no intention of removal.

2. On rare occasions, contractual limitations with content providers require us to remove a piece of content from FORMED.

3. When this occurs, FORMED will post a notice specifying the removal date above the content’s description.

4. This means leaders can safely plan their ministries far in advance! If no removal notice is present above a particular content’s description, there are no current plans to remove the content, and the likelihood of such content’s removal is highly unlikely.

5. Additionally, all Augustine Institute Original programs, such as Symbolon, LECTIO, Divine Mercy, Forgiven, and many more, as well as Lighthouse audio talks and AIR Theatre audio dramas, have no contract limitations and will not be removed from FORMED.

Due to contractual limitations, the following movies will be removed from FORMED in the coming months. Watch them now before they’re gone!

What about Seasonal Content?

Content specific to seasons such as Lent, Advent, and Christmas will remain on FORMED year-round. During the relevant season, content is prominently featured on the page. In other times of the year, this content will be re-integrated into other content stripes or featured in a less-prominent location on the page.
