Are we equipped to address the disunity present among Christians today?

As the world observes the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s nailing of his “95 Theses” to the door of Wittenberg Cathedral, FORMED offers timely resources to aid you in understanding the Catholic Church’s perspective of this major event in the life of the world. As Catholics, our longing for the unity among all Christians should not only be present in our hearts, but should manifest itself in an understanding of that which has divided us in the past and today, as well as an active striving to reach out to our Protestant brothers and sisters in Christ.

To aid you in laying a foundation for common ground with other Christians, FORMED presents three insightful audio talks designed to enlighten every Catholic to the events of the Reformation and its major figures, both Catholic and dissenters. In these hour-long talks, listeners are introduced to saints of the Catholic Counter-Reformation, including St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Teresa of Avila, and St. Charles Borromeo, as well as the instigator of the Reformation, Martin Luther himself. Listeners are also presented with intriguing insights into the nature of corruption and the inspiring need for reform in every age.
